Many Big Changes (Sept/Oct 2026 HUGE Update)
Last update letter, I mentioned at the end that there's going to be many big changes coming soon, and those big changes are here! God has done so many things in our lives these past two months, speaking to us and giving us so much direction into many new things, and we are excited to let you all know about it! We made a video for a church who presented us in one of their services, and we'd like to share it with all of you! Apart from sharing about who we are and what we do at Operation Worth, my wife Abigail shares what all of our programs really mean to the kids we serve and to her, which also includes some of her testimony. Another huge thing to mention: my wife and I have been in recovery for the past month from some serious stuff. My wife recently underwent surgery for a hernia that she had for 10 years (which the surgery was made possible by some very generous donors) and has been going thorugh the recovery process, and I have been recovering from my second neck sprain this year, which is going on a full month of doctor visits, x-rays, cortisone and vitamin B shots, and resting. It was really God that orchestrated all of this, having these things happen just at this time to give us the time for the rest that we need and the time to pray and organize ourselves for this next huge steep in the ministry that God has given us. I also want to mention that we have suspended all activities during this rest time to help us actually rest. The only program that has kept going is our soccer team, and my brother-in-law has been helping us with that while we've been recovering (the older kids actually had their first soccer game today after a long time of practicing and waiting to complete the team to be able to play again, and they won!) Once November starts, my wife Abigail will be taking on the soccer team and will start doing some activities with the kids and teens in the town that we have been felt to reach more: Antorcha.
I, Daniel, will actually be heading to Michigan to do fundraising for this huge change in ministry for us. I will be at Grace Christian Church November 8th talking about these new changes and selling t-shirts to raise funds to be able to build our ministry home and also looking for more people to become monthly sponsors so that we can continue doing what we do. I will also be meeting individually with people and families who want to meet with me to talk about all that we've been and will be doing here in Tijuana.
