Faithful Forever (Nov. 2024-Jan. 2025 Update)
We had a great end to 2024, and we're having a great start to 2025! This isn't by our hand, though. God is the one moving and proving faithful. We're just obedient.
We ended the year with some fun events at Saturday Kids Church! We did a few activities to encourage the kids to invite new friends, and the kids had a blast! We ended the year talking to the kids about the importance of Proverbs 3:1-2: My child, never forget the things I have taught you.
Store my commands in your heart.
If you do this, you will live many years,
and your life will be satisfying.
Please be praying for our kids that they understand this truth and that they truly apply it to their lives! Pray that they see the fruit of their obedience and that they can be living examples of obedience to others!
We had our first outing with the teens after a long while, and it was a great one! We have been just focusing on elementary-age kids, but God has spoken to our hearts to work with the middle-schoolers again. We're doing our best to start up Teen Church very soon, so please be in prayer with us that everything works out and that we get the volunteers we need for it!
We had a huge outreach the last weekend of January, and we had over 160 kids show up! That's not even counting the teens and adults! We were able to give out presents to the kids, thanks to Von & On and Samaritans Purse. Plus, we were able to reach everyone there with the gospel message and with personal testimonies of miracles and how God has saved us from anxiety, depression, and suicide. A few new families have already started coming to church with us, and we're praying and believing for more families to come! Pray for us, as we are contacting all of the families this week that went to the event, that God opens doors to bring these kids and families to Him. Pray that people answer our calls and messages!
