Answers to Prayer (July/August 2023 Update)
Wow, what a busy summer we had! So many different events that we had going on, and many things that I did personally. I just recently got back to Tijuana last week after visiting Canada and preaching and presenting at some amazing churches. But oh, how much God has answered prayer these past two and a half months.
Our Kids Summer Camp was the best one we ever had. Not only were we able to raise all the funds for camp thanks to all of you, but God moved so much in the kids' lives that week. As we talked about leveling up with Jesus, so many kids were experiencing God's presence so great, truly giving their lives to Christ, many kids and staff were freed from depression, and several kids were being healed right before their own eyes. The service times were phenomenal, the games and activities went amazing, and the administration of camp was so excellent. Lots of preparing and praying went into this camp, and God proved faithful like He always does. With 60 kids and 32 staff, this was our biggest and best camp yet. Again, I can't thank God enough for all of you who donated and made this possible!
Teen Camp happened this year, and it was a great time for these teens to not just connect with each other, but connect with Jesus. Several of them gave over their anxiety and low self-esteem to Jesus, and the difference is notable in them since camp. God is truly moving in these teens' lives and helping them see who they truly are in Him, and this is a prayer that I've had for a while now. Please continue to pray for these teens: that God shows them even more His amazing love for them and how valuable they truly are in Him.
We just finished the Samaritan's Purse Discipleship program at our Saturday Kids Church, and 23 kids and teens graduated the program! Not only were they taught about who Jesus really is and what He did for us, but they also learned how they can be examples of Jesus in this world and be shining lights for others! Two prayers were answered through this: 1. More kids have been able to be discipled due to an increase in numbers and due to the structure of this program, and 2. more adult teachers have stepped up and are helping me teach the kids every Saturday, which has been such a huge blessing for me. Please continue to pray for these kids: that they don't forget what they have learned, that they put it all into practice, and that they see God's blessing fall on them for their obedience to Him. Also pray for God's blessings for the amazing people that have stepped up to help!
I've been taking the Secret Agents of Christ to the children's home with me, and I've been giving them the chance to share with the kids there what God has been teaching them and been doing in their lives. in the photo above, Leonel got to share his testimony on how he was truly born again and how God has been helping him in his life. Miguel shared with the kids about one of the verses he has learned in our kids discipleship program, the Secret Agents of Christ. Joselyn, Alexander, and Luna also have had turns to share with the kids. It's so awesome to see these kids share about Jesus to other kids, and I'm so proud of who God is helping them become! It's been a prayer of mine for a long time for these kids to truly disciple others, and it's so amazing to see right before my eyes. Please keep them in your prayers: that God's fire continues to burn brightly in their hearts and that Leonel, Alexander, Luna, Alenn, Joselyn, Mia, Miguel, Johan, and José continue to truly seek Jesus with all of their hearts.
I want to give a personal thank you to Grace Christian Church from Michigan, Home Church Langley in B.C, Canada, and Grace Community Church in B.C, Canada for allowing me to present and preach at your churches. You all are such a huge blessing to me, and it was so amazing to be used by God to bless you all in the churches I preached at. You all are in my prayers! Also, please continue to pray for me, as I am finishing up Bible Institute this year, and I'm praying for some huge changes in my personal life. I can't thank you all enough for the amazing and generous support over the last 11 years. May God continue to bless you all over-abundantly!!
