Summer Goodness (July/August 2019 Update)

Wow, this has been the busiest summer we've had up to date. As soon as July started, event after event happened. Being busy isn't a bad thing, though. God definitely showed up a whole lot during these past two months in such huge ways!!

We had our very first church-wide missions trip throughout Tijuana the end of July, and we had fifteen people go on this trip: kids, teens, and adults. This trip was an outstanding one, especially for being our first one. We went to two children's homes, the garbage dump and Valle de Las Palmas, and Terrazas del Valle (where we live), and God truly moved in the lives of the kids and families we met. People were healed from pain in their body, hearts were transformed, and lives were set free. Not only did this happen for the people we met, but for the team that went, as well. This was such an amazing trip, and we are so excited to do it all again next year and throughout this year with more events to come!

Kids and Teen Camp went so smooth this year all thanks to the amazing donation from Brenda and Jerry Diez!! We combined the kids and teens this year, and God truly ministered to their hearts and lives in such a great way. People were healed, lives were changed, and fun was had at camp this year!!

Everything was provided and then some, and not just the kids, but all of the staff was at peace and ease of how well camp flowed this year with no worries at all. Thank you so much the Diez family once again!!

Also, Amanda and Mark came out for camp and made the whole process so much easier, and they were such a blessing to have serving with us!! Thank you guys once again!! We also had a group from Sacramento, California, come to our church and help us with a building project and did several events for the community. They are always such a joy to work with!! I also got the chance to translate for the God's Not Dead Missions Trip with the Newsboys in July, and that was exciting!! Continue to pray for all of us, as we wrap up this year with more events and outreaches to continue to spread the message of the love and worth everyone has in Jesus Christ!!
