Difficult, But Worth It (Jan/Feb 2018 Update)

Wow. Two months have gone by. January definitely dragged on, but at least February flew by. Still, though, it was a rough two months. There were many moments where I just broke down from the huge change in lifestyle and from missing my kids. The 'Merica life just isn't for me anymore. Mi corazón está en México.

While my heart has been in Mexico, I've been getting a lot of stuff done here in the states!! I've developed this website a whole lot more, and have been contacting churches and friends like crazy, trying to get the word out about Operation: Worth. On top of it all, I've taken some courses on leadership and the Holy Spirit at the Bible institute at Grace and have been learning a lot about administration and how important it is. This time has really been an eye-opener, and I'm really thankful for it. I may be sad about not being in Tijuana, but I'm getting a whole lot done that I wouldn't have had I been in Mexico.

I've also had the great pleasure in volunteering in Little People and Kid Nation at Grace while I've been here, and has that been amazing!! I had the opportunity to speak in Kid Nation two weekends ago, and God truly spoke through me to the kids. I got to lead worship in Kid Nation, too, and had some awesome kids help me out!! Shout out to Josie, Kaylee, Arthur, and Sam for being so awesome!!
