Bigger (March/April 2024 Update)
These past two months, I made it our aim to go bigger. Not only in ministry, but in my personal life, too. And that we did. So this is a long one.
The whole month of April, it was Kids Month! April 30th is Kids Day, but we decided to celebrate all the Saturdays of April as Kids Month! We did fun competitions all month, and ended the month with a huge celebration in the soccer field by the church. City Reach Church from Los Angeles came and helped us provide free pizza and toys for all the kids. Many new faces showed up, and we are praying that they continue to show up at our services each weekend. Please be in prayer with us! We are continuing to do it big each Saturday, so please be in prayer with us in that, too, that God provides everything for us to do it big for Him.
We are currently looking for monthly sponsors to be able to continue doing it big every Saturday, as well as with our other programs. If you would like to donate monthly with whatever amount, please click here to do so. Make sure to click the box to make your donation monthly! Thank you so much for your consideration.
In the beginning of March, we celebrated 11 years of our soccer team Los Extremos. We had a special gala dinner for all the kids and their families and for the alumni and their families. It was a great night full of memories, awards, and fellowship. I wanted to bless them for their hard work and do something special for them and for the alumni, as we reached a huge milestone of 11 years (last year, due to low finances, we weren't able to celebrate the 10th Year Anniversary, so we did it this year).
Unfortunately, we have been experiencing lower and lower attendance these past few weeks. Please be in prayer for our soccer team, that God brings the kids that we need to reach through our team, as the team has been a great tool to invite new kids to church.
The Secret Agents of Christ went out and did several outreaches these past two months! We went to the children's home, the garbage dump, and the local hospital (not pictured) and shared the love of God with them in many different ways. We had games, snacks, and teachings at the children's home, and we handed out burritos and prayer at the local hospital, and made tortas for the people at the garbage dump. The coolest part is that the kids planned and organized it all! Alexis actually taught one of the lessons at the children's home (first picture) with a little help from me. For this month, along with our monthly children's home visit, we are planning on going door to door with handmade cards, telling people about how much God loves them and matter to Him! Please pray for us, that we are able to reach a lot of people with God's love and that they'll come to our church to experience it even more!
I finally graduated Bible Institute after 4 years of studying! I am so grateful to God for all He taught me during these past 4 years, and I'm ready to do even more now (now that I have more free time lol).
And for those who don't know, I am now engaged to my amazing girlfriend! Abigail is such a great help to me in everything that I do, and she really is trying her best every day to grow closer to God and see all that He has for her along with me. She also have three amazing kids who we are raising to love God more than anything else and to live a life of servanthood, as Jesus lived to serve. Please keep us in your prayers, as we are planning for our wedding and our future together, and for God to provide even more for us in every are of our lives!
I love you all so much and can't thank God enough for you all. Your support means more than you know. If you are able and wanting to raise your current monthly support, please message me on Facebook or through email (daniel.ratz92@gmail.com) if you need help doing so. And again, if you'd like to begin to partner with us monthly, you can do so by clicking here.
"If God hadn’t been there for me, I never would have made it. The minute I said, 'I’m slipping, I’m falling,' your love, God, took hold and held me fast. When I was upset and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up." - Psalm 94:17-19 MSG
